What WhatsMCP is

WhatsMCP is a hosted Model Context Protocol server: you link a normal WhatsApp account to it, the same way you would link a new device from WhatsApp's own "Linked devices" screen, and your agent then talks to that account through our API. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by WhatsApp or Meta. Speaking the WhatsApp protocol this way is outside WhatsApp's own terms of service — WhatsApp can act on that at any time, including blocking the number, with no involvement from us and no recourse we can offer. Think hard before linking a number you depend on, and see "Your responsibilities" below.

Your account and API keys

You need a WhatsMCP account to link a number. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys confidential — an API key is a bearer credential, equivalent to a password for everything it can do, and anyone who has it can act as you. Revoke a key immediately from the console if you believe it has leaked.

You must own or otherwise have the right to link the WhatsApp number you connect. Linking a number you do not control, or do not have permission to automate, is a violation of these terms.

Your responsibilities

Through your linked number and API key, you agree not to:

• Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, or messaging that violates applicable anti-spam or telecommunications law in your jurisdiction or the recipient's.
• Use the service to harass, defraud, phish, or distribute illegal content.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, account isolation, or other technical controls described in our Privacy Policy.
• Resell or sublicense API access without our prior written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this section, with or without notice, to protect the service and other customers.

Fees and billing

Paid plans are billed as described at checkout and in your console. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise in your plan. Downgrading or cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless we say otherwise when you cancel.

Service availability

We operate WhatsMCP on a best-effort basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Because we are not WhatsApp, we cannot guarantee message delivery, that a linked number will stay connected, or that WhatsApp will not act against a number at any time — see "What WhatsMCP is" above. We may change or discontinue features with notice where reasonably possible.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhatsMCP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including a blocked or banned WhatsApp number, lost messages, or lost business arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the console. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms. Unpairing a number or deleting your account is described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law
